3.3 Information we do not seek
We do not ask for passwords, OTPs, card numbers, bank PINs or other sensitive financial credentials over WhatsApp. Please do not share such information with us on WhatsApp. For our healthcare businesses, any medical information is collected only where needed to provide care and is handled with additional confidentiality.
4. WhatsApp Business Communications
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform to communicate with customers, dealers, suppliers and enquirers. When you message us on WhatsApp, or opt in to receive messages from us, the following applies:
- Opt-in: We will send you business-initiated WhatsApp messages (template messages) only after you have given us your consent — for example by ticking the WhatsApp opt-in box on our website, messaging us first on WhatsApp, giving consent in person or over the phone, or agreeing in an order or registration form. We keep a record of your opt-in.
- Types of messages: We may send you (a) utility messages such as order confirmations, quotations, invoices, dispatch and delivery updates, payment reminders, appointment reminders and service updates; (b) authentication messages such as one-time verification codes; (c) marketing messages such as product launches, offers and promotions, only where you have agreed to receive them; and (d) service replies to questions you send us.
- Who processes your WhatsApp data: WhatsApp messages are transmitted through infrastructure operated by Meta. Meta acts as our service provider (data processor) for the WhatsApp Business Platform. Meta's handling of data is also governed by the WhatsApp Privacy Policy and the WhatsApp Business Terms.
- Encryption: Messages are encrypted in transit. When we use the Cloud API hosted by Meta, Meta processes message content on our behalf to deliver it to us. Once a message reaches our systems, it is protected under our own security measures described in Section 9.
- Automated replies: Some replies may be sent automatically (for example, business hours notices, order status or menu-based answers). You can always ask to speak to a member of our team.
- Frequency: We aim to keep messages relevant and limited. Marketing messages, where you have opted in, are sent at a reasonable frequency.
5. How We Use Information
We use your information to:
- respond to enquiries and provide quotations, product information and price lists;
- process, confirm, dispatch and deliver orders and provide invoices and payment reminders;
- provide logistics, warehousing, real estate and healthcare services you have requested;
- send you transactional and service notifications over WhatsApp, SMS, email or phone;
- send you promotional messages about our products and offers, where you have consented;
- verify your identity and prevent fraud, spam and misuse;
- improve our website, products, services and customer support;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Legal Basis & Consent
We process your personal data on the basis of (a) your consent, including your WhatsApp opt-in; (b) the need to perform a contract or order with you or take steps at your request before entering into one; and (c) compliance with applicable law. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal, and we may still send you messages that are strictly necessary to complete an order or service you have already requested.
7. Sharing of Information
We share personal information only as needed, with:
- Group Companies — to serve your request where another Group Company is better placed to help (for example, logistics for an automobile parts order);
- Meta / WhatsApp — as our WhatsApp Business Platform provider;
- Business Solution Providers — any WhatsApp Business Solution Provider, CRM, hosting, messaging or IT service provider we engage, under confidentiality obligations;
- Principals and brand partners — such as the brands we distribute, only where needed for warranty claims, product support or order fulfilment;
- Transporters, couriers and payment providers — to deliver goods and process payments;
- Government and legal authorities — where required by law, court order or to protect our rights, property or safety.
Where our service providers (including Meta) process data outside India, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected in line with this Policy and applicable Indian law.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy — including the period of our business relationship and any period required for tax, accounting, warranty or legal purposes. WhatsApp conversation records are retained for as long as reasonably needed to provide customer support and maintain business records, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Opt-in and opt-out records are retained to demonstrate compliance with WhatsApp's policies and applicable law.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls, limited staff access on a need-to-know basis, secure storage, and the security features of the WhatsApp Business Platform. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a personal data breach, we will act in accordance with applicable law.
10. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, including the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
- request correction, completion or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data;

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 16. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.
